Ha Long Bay’s natural beauty makes it one of Vietnam’s top tourist attractions. The bay is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Business Insider recommends the best way to see Ha Long’s awe-inspiring limestone towers is by boat. In fact, many tourists stay overnight on a boat in the bay.
In 2018, the province hosted the National Tourism Year under the theme “Ha Long – Heritage, Wonder, Friendly Destination”. It welcomed a record of over 12 million tourists, up 24% year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
